From the community of Claysville, on US Hwy 431 across the Tennessee River from (and north of) Guntersville, take State Hwy. 79 northeast about 11 miles to County Road 77. Here you'll be in Jackson Co., briefly. The intersection has a new BP service station/convenience store. Turn left (west) onto CR77. Go up the plateau onto Gunters Mountain, a distance of about three miles to the 2nd church on the left (S) side of the road. Prospect Rd. turns south just before that church and can be used also to access the following place. We parked at the church and its adjoining cemetery, Gunter Mountain Memory Gardens.

The two high points can be walked to: (1) the high ground on the north fence line of the cemetery; (2) high gound just northwest, in a field beyond and just NW of the mobile home nearest to the cemetery. No restrictions, and pleasant surroundings.

Note that the topo makes no mention or notation of a cemetery here.
