Fulton County High Point Trip Report

Got an early start, but the sun was up and the day was sticky by the time I got to the base of 1138' Wallace Knob. There is a locked gate (not posted) just east of spot elevation 860, so I parked here and headed up the road on the west side of the hill. T his is a good dirt road, with a power line following it, and a hunting blind it about 900' elevation.

At the hilltop is a radio tower and small building. NE of the building is a big rock just in the trees, and I built a cairn on it and left a register there.

Headed back to the car and hopped in. Sweat was sluicing off me, so I took off my T shirt, positioned it in a spot where it would dry, cranked up AC to the max, and headed to the next HP (the usual routine).
