From I-40 exit 175 in Lonoke, AR at State Hwy 31, zero odometer.
 0.0 -- Exit 175 on I-40 at AR 31 - go north on AR 31.
 8.3 -- CR 722 - turn right (east).
12.4 -- Prairie county line at Salem Cemetery Road - park. Area #1 begins at
the corner and hooks 1/4 mile into the field. The highest area is a wooded
strip running east alongside the road (CR 722). Another possibility runs along
Salem Cemetery Road to the north. The BM 'Jones' 271 feet is a nail and survey
marker in the tree at the northwest corner of the intersection in Lonoke county.
Continue driving east on CR 722.
12.9 -- Dirt track to the left (north) - park. Area #2 is out in the field,
a small spot at an obvious high area. I was questioned by a gentleman on a tractor
while I was leveling back to area #1 (inconclusive). He didn't mind my being
there but wished I had asked first. Continue driving east.
14.6 -- Tippett Cut Road (New Cut Road on Delorme) - Turn left (north).
16.6 -- Unmarked road to the right - Fish ponds to the left behind a row of
        trees - continue straight.
17.2 -- Park alongside the road. With permission, hike 0.3 mile west through
the woods to area #3, then 0.2 mile north-northeast to area #4. Don't go near
the fish ponds. I used my GPS to pinpoint the areas and returned to the car.
Continue driving North on Tippett Cut Road.
18.3 -- Holland Road - Turn left (west). You can get to this point from the
north or west by taking SR 38. From the Lonoke/Prairie county line (signed),
go east 3.3 miles, turn right (south) on Tippett Cut Road. Go 0.3 mile to Holland
Road and turn right.
19.3 -- Driveway on the left. Drive up to the house, park and get permission to
hike the remaining areas. The couple there were very nice and I spent some time
showing them the maps of the areas I wanted to do. Note: They mentioned that
they were house-sitting. The owners may not be as amenable. Also, this is
cattle country. When no cattle are there, there are nice open fields with gates
in the fences. I hiked South past a pond about 0.5 mile to area #5 around the
tree line, then went west-southwest another 0.5 mile past a second pond to area
#6 in the woods. I then hiked north and west 0.4 mile to the area of #7 hitting
all high areas. I eventually came to Holland Road, crossed to the other side
and went northwest 0.3 mile to area #8. I backtracked to Holland Road and
followed it northeast back to the car. I again used the GPS unit extensively
for these four areas.
