Our way to Anthony Peak had two road closures, luckily both easily passable.
However the El Nino had left some pretty impressive piles of snow and my attempt
to use Fen's jeep for a snowplow proved too slow, so we had to start hiking 200'
vertical below Suttle's suggested trailhead (sob!). The snow was pretty firm,
so we only sank in a few inches, but our desert hiking boots and lack of gaiters
led to cool feet.
