Solano County High Point Trip Report

Following instructions in Gary Suttle's book brought us to the gated road with access to Mount Vaca. The road is paved to this point and is dirt thereafter. There is a pull-out to the right for parking.

The gate was open but there are signs that is private property (contact the "Blue Ridge Land Owners Association, 6994 Blue Ridge Road", presumably in Vacaville). A communications worker there said there would be no problem going up the road. Only the signs at the gate indicate that trespassing may be a problem.

The dirt road ascends and clearly leads to tower number 20. The highpoint is, fortunately, outside the fenced area, to the right (southwest) of the tower.
