Sonoma County High Point Trip Report
Cobb Mtn west rim (4480 ft)

The access is nasty here, with many geothermal power plants, manned gates and
other impedimenta. I managed to park at 3,700', and hastened off for the top.
The last few hundred yards led through a world-class miserable manzanita thicket
(west side of hill), where belly crawling, branch breaking & swearing produced
slow progress to the top.
It was recently logged in spots, and I built a cairn on a stump.
Coming back was much easier using the logging roads.
