Broomfield County High Point Trip Report

Date: May 28, 2002
Author: Andy Martin

Knowing another gimmie cohp would raise our spirits (mine, at least) we proceeded to the corner of CO 128 and Indiana Street, where fabled Mount Broomfield felt the stomp of our mighty sneakers. Some difficulty was encountered in construction of a summit cairn, due to an acute rock shortage for several miles in all directions, but eventually enough concrete was gathered to allow shooting the customary "hero" photo, with a handy real estate sign substituted for an ice axe.
