Middlesex County Highpoint Trip Report

The biggest problem with this one was that I was getting tired. That and the
fact that CT, in order to really confuse people, has put East Hampton well to
the west of Hampton. Really. It's that quaint New England sense of humor thing.
The access road is between mailboxes 85 and 85 and while overgrown is not gated
or cabled. Previous directions will get you there. However, when the GPS says
you are about 90 yards from the HP, the road will go away from where you want
and you might be tempted to bushwhack. Avoid temptation in this case. The road
will curve back around when you are 140-150 yards from the HP and go right to
where you need to go with a lot less effort. A half hour round trip is probably
about right.
