Washington County Highpoint Trip Report

spot elevation on Oak Hill (331 ft)

Date: March 14, 2007
Author: Michael Schwartz

Fred Lobdell’s and Bill Jacobs’s reports from 1999 are still valid. The Hardens still own the approach property, and highpointers are cordially welcomed. Mr. Harden advised that the spot elevation is on his neighbor's property but he didn't think it would be a problem to wander about in the brush. His neighbor lives elsewhere. He even insisted on lending me his chaps, which were a blessing in the very briary woods.

The spot elevation is 0.22 mile from his home and very flat. Use GPS to be certain of reaching it. Nice view from the rear of the Harden house.
