Bleckley County Highpoint Trip Report
three areas 1 1/4 mile SW to 1 3/8 mile ESE of Elsharath Missionary Church (470+ ft)

From the junction of GA 112 and US 80 in Allentown (see Laurens County report),
drive seven miles southwest on GA 112 to Cary. Take the second right, just past
the blinker, Dillard-Cary Road. Go northwest 1.6 miles to the unsigned Dillard Road,
and go right about 1/10 mile. Hike about 400 feet through pine rows to an unimpressive bump.
For the middle area, return to the junction with Dillard-Cary Road, continue
another 0.5 mile southwest, turn right (northwest) onto Pine-Twiggs Road and go
0.5 mile. Turn left(southwest) onto Rainbow-Twiggs Road and go 0.4 mile to the
rise on the left (south) in a cotton field. Walk about 300 feet to the liner bump.
For the western area, continue southwest on Rainbow-Twiggs Road another 0.6 mile
to the four-way junction with Hill-Manning Road at spot elevation 470.
The junction looks far higher from the middle area. Wander around the open area
surrounding the intersection. Although the actual junction is at the edge of
the contour, it seemed as high as anything around to me.
