Andy Mountain lies in northwestern Douglas County, just north of I-20.
It is marked by large power lines passing over it.
From the exit for GA 61 on I-20, at the town of Villa Rica, go north into town and turn east
on US 78/GA 8. Go about 3.5 miles to Andy Mountain Road. (If you pass under the power lines
you've gone too far.) Turn right (south) on Andy Mtn Rd.
The first intersection on your left is Andy Mt. Court, which ends in a cul-de-sac that is
surrounded by houses. Continue south to a gravel road on your left (east).
This gravel road leads right up to the base of one of the power line towers.
The high area appears to be east of the towers. This route is not posted.
