three areas 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 miles south-southeast of Adabelle (230+ ft)

From I-16 exit 116 at US 25, zero odometer.

0.0 -- I-16 at US 25, go south on US 25.
0.2 -- Old Bowen Store Road, CR 190, turn right (west) on CR 190.
0.9 -- Stouts Creek Road, go straight.
2.2 -- Adabelle Road, CR 195, stop Sign, turn right.
4.4 -- Adabelle Road South, CR 192 (dirt), turn left.
5.5 -- Junction with Settlement Road, CR 193,
go straight ahead on Croatian Cemetery Road.
5.6 -- Area #1, park. Hike east through the cotton field to the highest point.
The road looks higher to the south. Drive south.
6.5 -- Area #2, hop the fence and hike east. Roam around the field and into
the trees. The area west of the road is lower. Drive south.
8.6 -- Y in the road, go left.
8.9 -- Bowen Road, turn right (west).
9.3 -- Archie Mitchell Road on the right. Park and, with permission, hike to
area #3 to the north in the field. It's pretty flat but is probably
the highest of the three so roam around until you're satisfied.

Driving east on Bowen Road takes you back past Adabelle Road to the Interstate and provides a loop and/or alternate route for this county.
