Pulaski County Highpoint Trip Report

three areas 1/2 to 1 1/4 miles northwest of Pleasant Grove Church (390+ ft)

Done with Kevin Williamson. These areas are just south of the Pulaski/Houston County line, off US 129. The dirt road heading due west is easy to spot. Park in the tower driveway south of the road and explore the two small areas, which do show a bit of relief but not much. Thick brush at the northern bump. Continue west along the dirt road to just before it turns south and see a gated road to a hunting club area. We met one of the members, who remembered Kevin from a previous scouting expedition and graciously allowed us to park. Several track roads work their way toward the third area, which has a surprising amount of relief. Prowl around the flat top until satisfied.

one area 3/4 mile southeast of Klondike (390+ ft)

Go about 1/2 mile south of the county line on US 341. The structures shown on the topo are gone but traces of the old roads are obvious and offer a safe place to park. Walk through brushy fields to the highpoint.
