Bremer County Highpoint Trip Report
two areas on east county line (1,160+ ft)

From state Highway 93 (First Street) and Pleasant Street in Sumner, IA, zero odometer.
0.0 - Highway 93 and Pleasant Street - go north on Pleasant.
2.6 - Jog left (west) on 115th Street, then right (north) on Yukon Avenue.
3.1 - 110th Street - turn right (east).
3.6 - Cross under transmission lines.
4.1 - Y Street/York Road - turn left (north).
4.6 - 1064 York Road - park. High point seems to be near an electric pole.
Walk around a bit to get this southern point.
5.1 - Crest in the road - Park. The Northern high point is in the field to the left (west).
This took some more walking around in the cornfield.
A little further down the hill to the north, on the right (east) side of the road,
against the fence is the tri-county marker for Chickasaw, Bremer and Fayette Counties.
