Dickinson County High Point Trip Report

From the intersection of IA 9 and US 71 we headed S for 1 mile on a gravel road, then 1 mile W on another gravel road to an intersection with yet another gravel road. The HP was a grassy hilltop about 100 yards SSW of this intersection. It appears to be public property, as a sign on the corner proclaimed a wildlife management area and permitted hunting.

Although surrounded by farm fields, the HP itself is not cultivated and there is a very small pond (which appears not to be farm related) amid a watercourse a stone's throw to the south.
