The first two points southwest of Pleasent Prarie in sec 33 are history, victims of a landfill.
The next three points in sec 7 and 8 are southwest of Durant. From IA 927 proceed 1 mile west of Durant,
turn right (south) onto Verde Road. Follow the gravel road about 2 miles to the Durant BM, which was not located.
The contour to the east is higher in the field than on the road, it was planted with radishes or
something and can be traversed in summer.
The other two points were off limits, deep in corn.
