Brown County High Point Trip Report

We approached the Brown County HP from the Hancock County HP, which involves a lot of back roads
which I won't bore you with. One thing to note is that IL 133 SW of Tioga has been recently extended
northbound and expanded to 4 lanes. This was not on Delorme or the road map, and caused some confusion.
In any case, get to US 24 at Camp Point. Travel west for 11 miles, make a left (north) at 200E to the town
of Timewell. The welcome sign said "Time in Timewell is time well spent". From Timewell, head north on
200 to 1200N. Make a left (west), continue to the next intersection, 150E. There is a white house
northwest of this corner which sits smack dab on the HP. No one was home. Mound Cemetery is just to
the north, and it sits noticeably lower than the house.
