Located in southeast IL, just east of the barge-carrying Wabash River, this rise is in a crop field along a county road. Jon Mann's report is accurate though I might add that if you come from the south, unmarked CR450 is 12.7 miles from IL1 and US50 north of Lawrenceville. The friendly lady at a house not shown on the topo (north of 614 at the curve) knew it is the highpoint and her brother owns it.
