Located in southeastern IL, this hill is farmed and has several access points. Tim Worth wrote a good description. In Mt. Carmel on IL1, zero your odometer and take Market Street north. It becomes College Street. At mile 6.8 reach Friendsville. Turn left (west) on 1950N. After 1 mile, note the dirt lane on the right (north). This reaches a barn with a gate across the road to the radio tower noted on the topo. This tower no longer exists. From the radio tower site, go west and then northwest across cropland and treed fence lines. Compass needed.
