Drive south on Indiana 67 from Indianapolis to the turnoff for the town of Bethany. Instead of turning left
toward the town, turn right and ascend Observatory Road as it snakes upward for over a mile. You will
come to a large white building to the right, just as the main road turns sharply to the left (west). This is the
Goethe-Link Observatory. Instead of turning left, go straight (north) on a dirt road past the observatory for
0.25 mile to a spot where three drives diverge. The center driveway ascends up and cuts across a gentle rise
which is the county high point. I thought the highest spot was on the left side near a tree.
