From KS-181 at Main Street in Tipton, zero your odometer.

0.0   KS-181 at Main Street – Go east on Q Road – Dirt.
2.0   130 Road (sign for Blue Hills Lodge) – Turn right (south).
3.3   Turn left (east).
4.7   Turn right (south) – Rough road – Needs high clearance.
5.6   Turn right (west).
5.8   Red gate – Unlocked – Continue straight ahead (west).
6.0   Park.

Area #1 is by the communications tower on the right. Hop the fence and hike west-southwest 0.4 mile for Area #2. Do not disturb the cows. From Area 2, hike south-southeast 0.5 mile for Area #3. Drop north-northeast into the creek bed and up to your car in 0.6 mile, or return over Area 2 to avoid the drop.

The driving route worked but I found an easier way on my way out. Just reverse the following. Turn around and go back (east).

6.4   Road comes in from the left that I came in on but
continue east on a better road (doesn’t show on the topo).
7.8   150 Road – Turn right (south).

11.8 Main Street in Hunter – Continue straight ahead a short distance to KS-181.
