On SH 51 just east of Woods, KS, find a CR one mile east of the county line. Go south.
This road does a 1mi dogleg shift to the east. When you're heading south again,
go 2mi and turn west on a rough but wide CR. After 1mi go south at the T and you'll
see a gas well access road (JP Rogers #1) which can be driven west to the well, and beyond.
This isolated hillock, a drive-up, is abandoned range land.
The northern rise is higher. This is a good place for a hand level exercise/practice
because the two hills are fairly close in elevation and not too far apart.
