point 1,000 ft southwest of Towery Cemetery (767 ft)

From Princeton drive north on Highway 139, cross Highway 70, and continue to the junction with Highway 902. Drive north on Highway 139 2.2 miles to Towery Cemetery Road, and follow this road for 0.8 mile to the house at the end of the road at 800 Towery Cemetery Road. The people are friendly, and said they don't mind if others come by to visit the highpoint. There are three benchmarks, but two were covered by snow. One with a witness post is at the end of the loop driveway, next to a meat smoker and firewood stack.

Bald Knob (766 ft)

From the junction of Highways 91 and 62 in Princeton, drive southeast on Highway 91 about 6.5 miles where East Bald Knob Road goes left. Stay on Highway 91 and turn into the first driveway on the left, at a brick house. This is the owner's house; knock and get permission to hike through his fields to the wooded knob, and don't forget to shut the gates behind you. The knob gets steep just before the top. No benchmarks were found, possibly due to the snow and leaves. The owner said there used to be 3 benchmarks, but that that 1 was taken. The location on the topo seems to show the benchmark on the south side of the contour, which is lower than the middle of the contour, so this area could be higher than the other area. Not knowing if the benchmark with 766 feet was at the very top, both areas in the county should be visited.
