Garrard County High Point Trip Report

Four areas are accessible 1 mile south of Cartersville on Narrow Gap Road where road crests. This set of 4 HPs are located within 1/2 mile radius. There are some moderately steep slopes to traverse. Round trip hike of about an hour going a comfortable pace.

The remaining HP is a tough one to find and a tough one to get to. Your best bet is to get the topographic map and plan your own route. I entered from a road 3/4 mile East of the HP. Had to crawl through thick brush and had a rigorous climb only possible by grabbing trees for fear of plummeting down. There is most likely a more friendly route.
