Lockhart Bluff (754 ft)

From the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 723 in Salem, go south on
Highway 723 about 1 mile to the intersection with Highway 1433, then go west on
Highway 1433 for about 2.5 miles to the intersection with Fire Tower Road on the
north side of the road. There was a locked pipe gate on Fire Tower Road very
near Highway 1433 and there were postings from a hunting club.
I inquired at a nearby house and a hunting encampment along Highway 1433 about
who I could contact about accessing the land. I was told by a guy in the
hunting camp that a man from Paducah leased the land and he drove a unusual
green jeep. I was unable to make contact with this man and since it was modern
gun deer season I did not want to attempt this one. It was about 3/4 of a mile
from Highway 1433 on the Fire Tower Road to the Old Lookout Tower on Lockhart Bluff.
