Bristol County Highpoint Trip Report

four areas near Plainville

The WW1 Park is surprisingly pretty. From the previous reports, I was expecting a suburban expanse of cropped grass littered with children. This was quite the opposite. I have no opinion on which knob is the HP. I don't think it really matters as it takes less than 5 minutes to knock off all of them. My hunch is that the knob adjacent to the parking lot is the highest. There is a sign on the fence surrounding the fire tower that claims that the elevation is 470 feet, which could very well be the elevation at the top of the tower as the topo clearly shows this area to be under 400 feet.
