Middlesex County High Point Trip Report

800 feet northwest of Nutting Hill (1,580+ ft)

Date: November 29, 2003
Author: Brennan Connelly

I followed Mike Schwartz's directions, and they were fine. To simplify, take the main trail, stay straight ahead at both junctions. Turn right at the "T" junction on the ridge and bear left before the bare rocks on Nutting Hill on a faint 2-track. The high point lies somewhere along the rock wall across the path. My altimeter read 1,586 ft (+/- 5 feet). It's hard to say where the highest ground is, but by walking the wall for a few hundred feet in either direction, the high point should be reached.
