Wachusett Mountain (2,006 ft)

From MA 2, take exit 25 for MA 140 south. Follow signs for Wachusett Mountain State Park, then turn right after two miles at sign for the state reservation and ski area. At 3.8 miles, turn right into the reservation and follow signs for "summit," reached at 6.7 miles from MA 2. This summit has multiple towers and has excellent views. Alternate approach is to drive north about 3 miles from Princeton, again following signs to the reservation. This is a very popular place for raptor watchers during the fall migration.
