Baltimore County High Point Trip Report

The only sign along Middletown Road that you have reached the state line is the standard PA blue-on-white York County sign below the stop sign where it meets PA 851. Without any other marker, I took this as the state line.

There is parking on the right side of the road for the notary public on the other side. Highest ground in Maryland appears to be in the front yard of that house, a few feet from the road near the front door. I did not see any 966' marker or benchmark that the topo suggests would be there.

Also, although the map spells this area "Stiltz," note that a sign on a nearby church reads "Steltz."
