Baltimore City Highpoint Trip Report

Unless you are very familiar with downtown Baltimore, I strongly endorse Dan Case's excellent suggestion of coming at these point from I-695.

For the northerly point, I made a series of turns that would be difficult to follow and more difficult to reproduce with a straight face. Follow the map and it is easy enough. The highest ground looks to be toward the back along the line of bushes.

As to the southern point, I went south on Park Heights, right on Fallstaff, left on Dorset and parked at the corner of Labyrinth - a convenient place to examine the whole area.

I immediately discounted 6946 Glen Heights Road. This was obvious when standing on the corner of Glen Heights and Crest Heights. There are several places in the immediate area that are just as high and the area across Reisterstown Road is clearly higher. My personal vote for HP is at the tree in front of 6909 Reisterstown Road, although I can see why folks liked the area at the corner of Labyrinth and Reisterstown (front yard of 4014 Labyrinth). The land drops away from Reisterstown Road as evidenced by going to the alley behind the row houses on this road.

I don't know which point is higher.
