From US 15, head west on Route 77 toward Cunningham Falls State Park and Catoctin Mountain Park. Pass through the parks and continue to Tower Road which appears on the left. Turn left (south) on to Tower Road and proceed uphill. At an opening in the woods, Old Catoctin Road comes in on the right (from the northwest) and new houses appear in a developed area. Cross Fox Tower Road and continue another 0.2 mile south. An overgrown road appears on the right (west) with a sign saying that there's "no parking in driveway" with a pull-out opposite.

Hike up this road about halfway to the radio tower. Before the brambles, turn off to the left (southwest) and up a heavily-overgrown rocky slope to a flat summit. There are 3 old footings that I found for the former Foxville Lookout Tower. The summit area is broad with several rock outcroppings that could be true highpoints. Wandering over this area will assure completion; my guess for the best candidate is a bare area made up by a split rock.
