Montgomery County High Point Trip Report

In narrow wedge of county, 6,000 ft south of Ridgeville (880+ ft)
(this is also the second of two areas for Howard County)
Better known as Mt Airy Full Gospel Church (the buildings in the contour ring on the map)
From I-70, exit at MD 27. Go south, toward Damascus. At the first light you reach, Penn Shop Road, turn
right. About 0.1 mile down is the church, on the left. There is no problem driving up into the parking lot
behind the school, within Montgomery County. It's mostly flat, but the highest ground is in the
playground near the monkey bars.
On the Howard side, the highest ground is in back, under a maple tree coppice. I got a nice picture of it
with the microwave tower in the background.
