Somerset County High Point Trip Report
two areas at and 9/10 mile NNW of Zion Cemetery (49-53 ft on metric map Salisbury 1982)

From the south end of the US 13 Salisbury bypass, go south on US 13 about 1 mile to a left turn (east)
onto Flower Hill Church Road. From there, go 1.6 miles to left onto Backbone Road. Turn right at 3.0
miles onto unsigned Meadow Bridge Road, and at 3.3 miles see a small cemetery in the middle of a field
to the right (west) that is atop the northern area. Continue south to 4.1 miles and Zion Cemetery. The
large 15 meter contour is very flat and requires some wandering in fields and woods on the west side to
cover any high ground.
Note: Superseded 1942 non-metric topo map shows 53 ft spot elevation at Zion Cemetery.
