Eaton County Highpoint Trip Report

Sorry about the lack of exact mileages. I was dealing with a rental car without
1/10 miles and primarily going to the general direction via Mapquest.
From I-96, take M99 (exit 101) toward Eaton Rapids. After about 12 miles,
turn left (staying on M99) at the light, toward Jackson. In about 4-1/2 miles,
turn right onto Bellevue Highway, toward Olivet and the Springport Speedway.
After 2 miles, in the middle of Charlesworth (don't blink), turn LEFT onto Springport Road.
In less than a mile, when Springport bears left, bear right onto dirt Halsey Road.
Stay on this for about a mile to the "T" at Royston Road where you
will want to turn left.
Pay attention at the obvious rise in the road. You may have to come back to
this small farm road (I did). I went to the houses shown on the topo (both
house and trailer) but nobody was home so I drove back to the aforementioned road.
The HP was about 150 yards away through the cut corn field and was obvious.
