From Highway 131 and Highway 10 in Reed City at exit 153, zero odometer.
0.0 Highway 131 and Highway 10 - Go West on Highway 10
1.8 Lake county line - Go straight
5.8 Frank Smith Road - Turn right (north)
8.6 Bar X Road/32nd Road - Turn right (east) on a dirt road.
At 9.9 miles, after a sharp right turn, look for a road on the left and park.
Hike one mile to the top or, with 4WD, turn left (east).
At 10.3 miles is a large clearing - I parked here at about 9200+/- feet and hiked
0.6 mile east-southeast on a dirt path to the high point.
The top is not obvious. Roam around a little.
