HP is on top of an old ski hill, now a new expensive subdivision called Kandahar - lots 8 and 15 are on the HP ridge. You get a beautiful view for miles, especially west. This is the only Michigan county HP that is found to be incorrect on the 1997 list as compiled by Roy Schweiker and Carl Mills, reviewed by Andy Martin. It's location is southeast corner of northeast, not southeast of southeast.
