At MI-131 exit 180 and MI-55 east of Cadillac, zero odometer.

0.0 MI-131 at MI-55 – Go east on MI-55.
1.7 49 Road (Seeley Road, unsigned) – Turn right (south).
3.7 Finkel Road on left – Turn left (east).

26.4 Road changes to dirt and gets rough –
Continue straight ahead or park and walk.
26.5 Road bends to the right and tops out –
There is a pullout on the left at a campsite – Park.

Hike north and northeast through the woods and along a ridge. Go over two bumps and arrive at Area #1 in 0.4 mile, slightly to the left as you top out on a northwest-southeast ridge. Go southeast 0.2 mile along this ridge to Area #2. Return the same way to avoid dropping away from your vehicle. Approximately 150 feet of gain in a little over 1 mile round trip. I guess this qualifies as a gimme county.
