Douglas County High Point Trip Report

I did the western, less-likely area (1620+/- ft) first. Exit 77 on I-94, then north on MN 78, then east on CR 38, then south on Lady of the Hills Road (gravel and signed) past a statue of Lady of the Hills on the left to park beside the road just south of the Otter Tail - Douglas County Line. Hiked west through fields and woods and easily found the hp of land in Otter Tail and hiked southwest down the ridge to and well beyond and below the liner, probably at a fence line separating pasture (north) from woods (south). Checked with GPS.

To do the eastern, more-likely area (1620+ ft) it was back to CR 38 to go east to Parkers Prairie via CR 38 and MN 235. Then I went south two miles on MN 29 and west one mile on 108th Street past a radio tower and south about 1/2 mile on gravel Parker Road past another radio tower and parked at locked gate leading to an unoccupied house with address #10185. Walked west past the house and into woods (some fields) to a very definite fairly steep-sided knoll covered with oak and thorn bushes. Checked with GPS. No view.
