From the intersection of Routes 16 and 76 in Houston, drive 0.5 mile north on Route 76 to CR 9 and turn right (east). Continue east and north on CR 9 for another 4.75 miles to Looney Valley Road. Bear left onto Looney Valley Road (paved) and go a short distance to an intersection with Hanson Valley Road (dirt). Turn left (west) onto Hanson Valley Road and follow it northwest for a little over 1 mile to Truff Drive. Turn left onto Truff and follow it all the way to a house and barn at the extreme end of the road (go through gate #15137).

I met Jackie (owner) as she was mowing her lawn. She gate permission to park near her barn and hike up to the highpoint. From the barn, cross a fence and follow a second fence line south to a corner post. From there go directly up the open pasture to the edge of the woods, where you'll find an old woods path. Bear right, then take the left fork to the ridge crest. The highpoint is in the woods about 300 feet east of where the trail crests the ridge. There is no view.
