Waseca County High Point Trip Report

Date: December 27, 2000 and December 2001

The two north areas split by the highway are easy and worthwhile. The east-center HP area is the one with a house on it. Given the lateness of the hour, the foot-deep snow around the house, and the cold, I decided not to bother stopping and asking the man of the house, shoveling snow by an out-building at the foot of the hill, for permission. I drove to the two southeast HP areas, cornfields, and hiked them, then skipped the two southwest HP areas.

I visited the east-central 'House' HP area again rather late Dec. 22nd 2001. I visited the two southwest HP areas Dec. 26th 2001, merely recording that they were cornfields.
