Previous reports all approached from the south, but I came from the north. From the junction of MO 49 and
Road V, continue south on MO 49 for 4.9 miles to the signed Crooked Tower Road. Go right (west) as
described in Covill and Mann reports until reaching the grassy track leading to the obvious highpoint.
