Macon County High Point Trip Report

This is a fairly easy one. From the Linn cohp, we drove east on 129/11 for a mile, then straight east for 2.4 miles on CR JJ, past the Macon County line (wasn't that a movie? song?). At 2.4 miles, reach Bluegrass Avenue, a dirt lane, and go northeast on Bluegrass. At 0.4 mile, go past Balloon Road, which is a right turn to the southeast. At 0.6 mile is the 1st high spot. Stop just before a pond.

Go through a fence at gate by sign, amid cattle, and walk 100 yards or so west-northwest to high ground by a few trees. Cattle evidence is EVERYWHERE. Spot further north is lower for sure. If approaching from the south, go north on JJ 1.4 miles from intersection of J & JJ, turn east onto Bluegrass.
