Miller County High Point Trip Report

The Miller county hps are near the Maries hps. From the intersection of MO133 and road BB northwest of Dixon,
which is west of Rolla, drive northwest on BB. Just beyond the Miller-Maries county line, turn right
and drive north on CRBB-10. Just 1.2 miles north of road BB, find a narrow road on the right, with a
swinging gate. When we were there, the gate was not locked and there were no signs. Drive or walk east
on this narrow road, which gets better beyond the gate, for 0.7 mile to another gate at the county line.
Beyond this second gate is a house.
With permission, walk south to the southern area along the west side of the fence, cross another fence,
and reach the hp of the ridge. Because the county line fence does not continue to the high area,
it is necessary to line up with the county line fence to the north to get to the high area of Miller county.
There is higher ground to the east in Maries county.
Return to the road and walk north along the county line fence. Part way to the northern hp you reach a fence,
with posting by Jewel Farm. With permission, continue north to the hp along the county line fence.
Here again you must find the high ground west of the county line, as there is higher land to the east in
Maries county.
