Pulaski County High Point Trip Report

This is an easy one, albeit with a long rural approach. Approach from the junction of TT & AW near the southeast corner of Fort Leonard Wood. Go south 0.2 mile to Walnut, then west 0.7 mile to Willow Road, then south 1.1 miles more to the county line marked by a fence. Field is open to south in Texas County on the east side of the road. There is a buried cable sign right at the line.

There were approximately 15 hunters camped right at the exact HP, just off the road to the east at the line. HP seemed to be their deer hanging tree. Nice guys, they knew the tree was on the county line, and that it was a witness tree, with markings on it.

It was 1.5 miles south then east to rejoin AW road, and from there it's 3 miles south to 17, a major road.
