Washington County Highpoint Trip Report

I followed Dave Covill's directions and parked at the crest of the road.
I checked around with a few neighbors in the area and they did not know the person
who owned the land but thought he lived in Festus, MO (south of St Louis).
About 360 feet of gain to the summit in about 1 mile. No ticks, no poison ivy,
two reasons to highpoint during leaf off!
No views and several candidate rocks for the highpoint.
I agree with Dave that the highpoint is north of the Spot Elevation of 1582.
The old logging road described in Dave's report is still a
good way to access the summit area.
