Fred Dale's 2000 report will get you there just fine. Mrs. Lucas still lives at
#80 and is a sweet lady but her son, who lives in the next house southeast (not
shown on topo), across the draw, is a better choice for contact. I had a very
nice visit with him and he gave me a most interesting rundown on local history
of the immediate area. Do get permission and maintain our cordial welcome.
Note that the highpoint is planted to either corn, wheat, or soybeans,
so time your visit accordingly.
Better coordinates with the NAD27 datum are (31.43174° N, 89.62775° W).
