"America's bloodiest highpoint" had a civil war battle on it.
From US 72 near Iuka, take MS 25 south for 0.1 mile.
Turn right (west) onto Fairground Road (CR 187)
and follow it through the curve for 1.2 miles. Turn right (west) onto
Woodall Mountain Road (CR 176) and go for 0.7 mile. Turn right (north) onto a
gravel road and drive 1 mile to the parking lot at the tower.
The BM is 75 feet east of the tower in the lot.
