Custer County High Point Trip Report

Not really sure what the best way to approach this one is, my route could be improved on. In any case, it is not hard to drive to the trailer in center of section 4, east of the HP. No one was home here. The road continues west from here. It is seldom used, and borderline for a car. A truck should have no problems reaching the national forest boundary, assuming access was granted. Parking is possible about 1/2 mile west of here.

An easy hike through fairly open, but wooded terrain leads to the HP in the trees. I built a cairn and hiked back to family at car.
