Mecklenburg County High Point Trip Report

From Exit 16 on I-77, take US 21 east for about a half mile. Here 21 will turn north;
continue northeast on NC 115 for about 0.4 miles. Turn right (southeast) on Gibbons Rd.
and go about 0.8 miles to a road going left (northeast). Turn left and go about 0.7 miles,
just past a height of land, and park where there are no houses. Walk back up the hill to
where a dirt track goes into the woods on the north side of the road. Follow this track
almost to the summit, where a short bushwhack will be necessary to get to the top.
