Northampton County Highpoint Trip Report

This one irks me because I drove right by the silly thing when I did
Greensville, VA but that was back in the days when I was less experienced and
didn't know to look at adjacent counties for virtual gimmes.
Got there at first light. The Gaston Church is obvious as is the power line and
the posted dirt road. Follow the easy dirt road and your nose. I concur with
Fred Lobdell that the HP is to the right of the road just into the woods.
The road was posted against hunting and fishing by the Lakeside Hunting Club,
PO 1191, Gaston NC. You may want to avoid this one in hunting season.
About 20 minutes round-trip.
